The primary school counselor provides the following services:

• Conducts individual and group counseling for school-related problems
• Provides crisis intervention counseling
• Assists with the evaluation process for students who are referred for possible learning problems
• Facilitates Response to Intervention Committee meetings
• Serves as a liaison with outside agency personnel
• Provides consultation with parents, teachers, and administrators
