Dear Members of the Indian River Central School Community,
As 2025 approaches, on behalf of the Board of Education, IRCSD Leadership Team, Faculty, and Staff, we extend our warmest wishes to all of you. Whether you are celebrating the holidays or simply taking time to reflect, we hope you find joy and comfort in the company of loved ones. May the new year bring you health, prosperity, and many opportunities to "celebrate the journey" we take together helping our students and community grow and prosper.
This season, we are especially mindful of the many soldiers from our community and beyond who are currently deployed around the world. Their sacrifices—along with those of their families—remind us of the values of resilience, unity, and service. To them, please join me in expressing our deepest gratitude and unwavering support.
As we look to the future, we honor the unique paths and contributions of every individual in our Indian River community. At the same time, we take pride in how we come together as one united district, helping our students grow into lifelong learners and impactful citizens. This journey we share is one of hope, progress, and endless possibilities, and we are so grateful to walk it with you.
As we close out this year, we encourage you to take a moment to reflect, give thanks, and embrace the beauty of the present. Please explore our website and social media pages to see the many incredible milestones, projects, and celebrations happening across our schools. Thank you for being such an integral part of what makes Indian River Central School District an extraordinary place to live, learn, and grow.
A quick reminder: All IRCSD schools will be closed for Holiday Break from Monday, December 23, 2024 through Friday, January 3, 2025. Classes will resume on Monday, January 6, 2025.
Wishing you peace, joy, and meaningful moments throughout the New Year. Let’s continue to enjoy the journey together in 2025! #WeAreIR
Warm regards,
Troy Decker
