School Counseling
The school counselor is available to assist with concerns you or your child might have regarding their school experience.
Primary (K-3) and Intermediate School (4-5) Counselors:
The primary and intermediate school counselor provides the following services:
Middle School Counselors (6-8):
The middle school counselor may provide the following services:
- Individual counseling: personal/social, academic, emotional, crisis
- Small group counseling: counseling a small group based on a common need
- Classroom presentations: presenting a variety of topics within the classroom
- Consultation services: working with students, parents, and school staff

High School Counselors (9-12):
The high school counselor provides the following services:
- Provides a developmental counseling program focusing on academic, career, and personal/social development
- Manages the schedules and placement of assigned students providing course curriculum information and recommendations to students
- Develops plans and/or provides information regarding students' goals
- Meets student needs through prevention, identification, and intervention
