A Message from Superintendent Dobmeier

To the Indian River Central School District Community:

As we move toward closure of the 2018 calendar year, on behalf of the District, allow me to say how proud we are of the achievements of our students thus far this school year.  We’ve seen outstanding performance of our students in the classroom, in the arts, in athletics, and great strides in terms of social and emotional growth. We anticipate further development in these areas as we move into the second half of the school year. Students, please keep up the stellar work this year!  Parents, thank you so much for sharing your children with us in order to provide this high quality education!

The District would like to recognize the outstanding contributions of the faculty and staff of all of the District’s schools and departments that contributed, collectively, to such outstanding performance on the part of our students.  Faculty and staff, the District greatly appreciates all of your hard work and contributions in not only meeting but exceeding the primary goal of the District—education of our students. Thank you, and keep up the fantastic work!

A few reminders as we approach the end of the calendar year and the start of 2019: the District’s schools are not in session for the next two weeks—December 24th through 28th and December 31st through January 4th.  Classes resume on Monday, January 7th.

As we are fully engaged in the holiday season, the District wishes each and every one of you peace, health, happiness, and the joy associated with increased opportunities to spend time with family and friends.  Best wishes for a happy and productive 2019!

Mary Anne Dobmeier, Superintendent of Schools
