May 21, 2019 Public Vote ResultsTo the Indian River Community:  On behalf of the Board of Education and administration, thank you for your support of the district's instructional programming and services for our students, as well as the community, in general, through the affirmative vote on all of the budget proposals.  This allows us to move forward into the 2019-2020 school year prepared to continue to provide the high quality education Indian River is known for in well-maintained, efficient facilities throughout the District.

The results of the vote are detailed as follows:

The 2019-2020 IRCSD budget passed 382-26.

The proposed creation of a new capital reserve fund was also approved, 366-31.

The District's proposed capital construction project was approved, 354-43.

The library proposition to increase the amount of annual tax collection for local libraries was approved 353-48.

In Board of Education elections, incumbent Kevin McCarthy, who ran unopposed, was reelected with 349 votes, and Michael Pierce defeated incumbent RaeAnne LaFave with 210 votes to 197.  Thank you, RaeAnne, for your years of service on the Board of Education and your dedication to the Indian River CSD community.
